Mrs. Ibiwunmi Akinnola

Ibiwunmi Akinnola Ex Officio (63rd President)   is a passionate educator, beauty and food enthusiast and advocate for a better tomorrow for the good of all underserved children and their mothers with over 25 years of cognate experience in early years, primary and and secondary education, beauty and food retail management.

She started a vibrant preschool and after-school center called Child Centre in 2002, and has trained over 300 principals, vice principals, administrators and teachers. For this, she was honored with the PEEL (Partners for Excellence in Education and Learning) award in 2006.

As an Early-Years Education Specialist, she was invited to participate in the Federal Ministry of Education Vision 2020 in Abuja. She has also consulted with Lagos, Oyo and Ondo States to educate practitioners through events and trainings, even serving as Rapporteur and presenter at the 3rd Lagos State Education Summit in May 2013.  Having carved out a niche as an executive administrator, Mrs. Akinnola served as the Interim Administrative Coordinator for Yale-Harvard Leadership Enterprise for African Development in 2011.

In February 2015, she was appointed as an Educational Consultant for Ajapaworld Financial literacy Club, which is an initiative that partners UNICEF and the Lagos State Government Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) to provide training to facilitators/teachers at public schools. She is also one of the Lagos State School Safety Commission Audit Agents.

In 2017, She was appointed a director on the Board of VPDA (Vocational and Professional Development Academy) and in 2019 was appointed by WIMBoard as Director of the Advisory Board of Skool Media, an education technology infrastructure company determined to redefine teaching-learning processes and experiences in schools, homes, and communities using technology and innovation.

She is the founder of Cherith Child Foundation established in 2011, a non-profit organization advocating and supporting undeserved women and children by providing them with practical education that can help impact their immediate environment. 

From 2007 to date, She served on the Executive Committee of IWS in various capacities as follows:

Mrs. Ibiwunmi Akinnola currently hold the position of CEO, CCEP Cleaning bringing corporate ethics with respect to cleaning and implementing them. She serves as the  Executive Director of Nolla Fresh & Frozen Limited,  an innovative Food Service Company with the  vision to change the narrative of food retail business in Nigeria with 2 different brands which are :-

“Freshbone Butchery”: – Retail operations for raw, processed and value-added meats, vegetables and sundry derivatives for the lower to upper middle class. And “Fresh Bone BBQ & Grill” food retail on high street serving essentially BBQ & Grill items and other convenient foods to complement the BBQ Grill.

Ibiwunmi Akinnola is married with five children and 2 beautiful granddaughters.
