Mrs. Nwakaego Boyo

Nwakaego Boyo (60th President) Ex Officio  is an Actor, Film Producer and Creative entrepreneur.

She is the founder and Managing Director of Temple productions, a Film company based in Lagos and Temple Media in Barbados.

She has over 25 years experience and expertise consulting and producing premium award winning media content in Nigeria

Ego has a BA Theatre Arts from the University of Benin  and is a member of several Film industry associations.

She became a household name in 1991 when she made her professional acting debut in the critically acclaimed Soap opera ‘CHECKMATE’ on the Nigeria Television Authority.

Ego made her debut as a producer on 1996 and has Produced multiple award winning feature films, Short and Advocacy Films, Television Advertisements, the 1998 Presidential campaign videos and jingles, Music videos, Corporate and Social realism Documentaries, for private and Corporate clients.

She is the Founder and a trustee of Tempio Media Advocacy, the Chair of the Advisory board of the Lagos Fringe Theatre Festival, a multi disciplinary festival which runs annually in Nigeria and encompasses the full spectrum of artistic diversities. Ego is also on the governing board of the Mirabel center, the first sexual assault referral center (SARC) in Nigeria.

She is a member of the Nigerian Oscar Selection committee. Ego is a non-executive director on the board of Lagos Preparatory and Secondary School, Ikoyi, a private British curriculum School based in Lagos. She served on the advisory board of the Oando Foundation.

Ego was the 60th president of The International Women’s society, and has been a member for over 20 years serving in multiple capacities.
