Who We Are

The International Women’s Society was founded in 1957 in Lagos by a group of International public spirited women. Women are one of the most powerful agents in bringing about world change. When women are educated, healthy, and safe, we hope, we empower other women, lift up their families, their communities, and the world.

The International Women’s Society was founded to work for the advancement of women of all races, and to encourage and develop the common interests of women.
